Electronics Production Technician

Enatel Energy offers an expansive portfolio of fully customisable DC power systems and industrial battery chargers, designed to meet every power conversion requirement. Solutions offer flexibility and scalability by way of rack mount, hot-pluggable combinations of modular AC-DC rectifiers, DC-AC inverters, DC-DC converters with advanced monitoring and control.

Key responsibilities:
• Assembly and test on our Enatel systems
• Fault diagnosis on all production faults
• Testing and Repairing of manufacturing products
• Submit BOM updates to engineering and follow through
• Respond to production problems
• Report FPY to engineer and TL
• Assist with production approval process
• Build new product prototype according to build sheet
• Quality checking and inspecting

Technical:
• Identification of fault trends and reporting changes to management
• Evaluate facts and make decisions
• Good communication skills

Other duties:
• Supporting manufacturing technicians by training new technicians 
• From time to time, other reasonable duties which are now unforeseen, may be required outside of the tasks listed above 

Required skills:
• Ability to desolder & solder through hole and SMT components
• Read and understand schematic diagrams and overlays
• Sound knowledge of electrical theory and anti-static precautions
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
• Proficient in English, both oral and written
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Positive attitude

Working hours:
Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:40pm 
Friday 7:00am – 2:40pm

Warehouse Assistant/Kitter

Enatel is a world-leading specialist in the design and manufacture of a range of standby power solutions used in telecommunications, networking, wireless and industrial industries. It also produces grid-tied solar inverters for the renewable energy sector and motive power chargers for the industrial battery sector.

Scope of Role:
The primary focus of the Warehouse Assistant/Kitter is to unpack/check and receive all incoming goods in a timely manner following Enatel’s Inwards Goods receiving procedure. You will also be part of a team of Kitters and be reasonable for getting the right parts to the right place at the right time. You will ensure the warehouse is kept tidy and organized.

Key tasks:
• Forklift duties: including the loading and unloading of trucks and containers
• Ensuring inwards goods corresponds with paperwork
• Data entry of all incoming goods into MRP
• Maintaining accurate records and assisting in Inventory control 
• Putting away/Locating stock
• Cycle Counting and stock checks
• Keeping the Warehouse stock/store accurate and tidy
• Assist with quarantine rework as required
• Production kanban replenishment
• Picking components for production kits
• Part consolidation

You will have:
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to work well and accurately under pressure
• Good communication skills
• A positive attitude
• Basic math skills
• Physical strength for lifting and manual work
• Previous store experience 

Advantageous: 
• Reach Truck experience. 
• An OSH and F endorsed forklift license

Management Accountant

Scope of Role:
The prime purpose of the Management Accountant’s role is to produce financial analysis on revenue and profitability, costs and operations and provide business modelling expertise and analysis to assist in the management of the company. A key initial role will be assisting with implementing and embedding a new ERP system into Cloud Suite Industrial and the integration of finance, sales and operations.  

Core elements of the role:

  • Analyse the profitability of customers and products, manufacturing and price variances, costing and inventory
  • Ensuring that the information provided is accurate, timely, business relevant and commercially focussed through relevant analysis, interpretation and communication
  • Assisting the implementation of the sales and operations parts of the financial module of the ERP system and work with the business to smoothly integrate with other modules
  • Work with the engineering team and project managers to assist with business case preparation and regularly revisit ROI assumptions at gate reviews
  • The ability to balance ad-hoc non-scheduled requirements with routine and planned reporting
  • Proactively challenge existing processes, practices and reporting to recommend and drive the implementation of improvements.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills
  • Experienced in financial modelling and analysis
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Commercially focussed through providing interpretation and recommendations from financial information
  • Doing what it takes.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • 5 years plus experience in a similar role in a medium to large manufacturing company
  • Manufacturing and cost accounting
  • Working knowledge of ERP including MRP, inventory control and financial integration to the general ledger
  • Worked with senior level managers
  • ERP implementation (nice to have).

Regional Sales Executive – New Zealand and Pacific Islands

Enatel has an exciting opportunity within our Sales Team for a senior sales professional, experienced and accustomed to performing in a high-profile Regional Sales Executive role. This position is for a vacancy in our Christchurch office, although other locations may be considered for the right candidate. 

You will be the primary interface to Enatel Energy’s customers and distribution partners. You articulate technology, product positioning and are familiar with selling value. You must establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle to manage existing customer relationships and to develop new business and distribution partnerships.

You will be supported by a team of sales and systems engineers to deliver a broad range of solutions into the fast paced and evolving DC energy space currently experiencing significant growth.

Scope of Responsibilities:

The role is suited to an experienced and organised sales professional, who has a proven record working in a similar role for a hi-tech based product company. Absolute key is an ability to build and cultivate relationships at senior levels with major companies in the Telecommunications or similar technology focused industries. Experience in sectors that utilise DC power, standby power and industrial powers systems will be highly regarded but is not essential.

This is a significant position within the company with huge potential for the right candidate capable of establishing and building strong relationships in a B2B technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open doors for the business by actively creating new business partners and opportunities.
  • Maintains and builds rapport with existing customers.
  • Develop, manage and execute sales plans, strategies and goals based on growth objectives.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecast information and monthly reports.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations and tender responses as required.
  • Work within agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, e.g. product launches, promotions, advertising and exhibitions.
  • Strategically negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Monitors market dynamics including customer and competitor developments, and recommends appropriate strategies.
  • Prepares an annual Account Management Plan that aligns with the company and department objectives.
  • Identifies potential new markets and opportunities for Enatel products; providing recommendations to the GM Sales as to the opportunities.

Skills required:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification (as appropriate).
  • >10 years sales and commercial experience selling into Telecom or similar markets.
  • Strong technical acumen.
  • Demonstrates extremely high levels of sales and business acumen.
  • Responsive and Customer focused.
  • Strong team player that actively contributes to the company’s success.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a variety of personnel at all organisational levels.
