Account Manager – Enatel Energy

As an Account Manager for New Zealand and Pacific Islands, you report to the General Manager Sales Enatel Energy and will interact with Management members, as well as all internal departments. You are the primary interface to Enatel Energy’s customers and distribution partners.
Scope of responsibility:
The role is suited to a confident and organised sales professional, who has worked in a similar role for a hi-tech based product company. An ability to build and cultivate relationships at senior levels with major companies in the Telecommunications industry is essential.
This is a significant position within the company and it is expected that the Account Manager maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity, display a positive attitude and a team focus and be enquiring and articulate.Key Responsibilities:
•  Develop, manage and execute sales plans, strategies and goals based on growth objectives.
•  Maintains and builds rapport with existing customers whilst actively looking for and pursuing new business opportunities.
•  Provide accurate and timely sales forecast information and monthly reports.
•  Prepare proposals, quotations and tender responses as required. Presentations to end-users and prospects at customer meetings and events.
•  Work within agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, e.g. product launches, promotions, advertising and exhibitions.
•  Negotiate commercial agreements and able to appoint effective new business partners in appropriate markets.
•  Relentlessly monitors market dynamics including customer and competitor developments, and recommends appropriate strategies.
•  For review by the GM Sales, prepares an annual Account Management Plan that aligns with and meets the objectives established by the overall plan for the Energy products sales function. Includes in the annual plan; key prospects, markets, performance indicators and a comprehensive budget.
•  Once agreed implements the plan including undertaking the following:
– Attends roadshows, expos and other events as appropriate and budgeted;
– Demonstrates the product range;
–  Develops relationships with the customer; either directly or working alongside the channel/distribution partner to more effectively demonstrate and sell the product;
–  Utilises the services of technical and product specialists as required to develop relationships, demonstrate the products and complete sales.
–  Negotiates agreements with customers/channel/distribution partners – formally or informally; ensuring objectives of Enatel are met.
–  Effectively manages the initial transactions with customers/channel/distribution partners to ensure the relationship meets objectives.
•  Researches potential new markets and opportunities for Enatel products; providing recommendations to the GM Sales as to the opportunities.
•  Reports monthly to the GM Sales on achievement of plan objectives and budget.
•  Participates fully in all meetings with Sales Team as appropriate, contributing ideas, providing support and reporting as required.
•  Contributes to development of the plans for the business
Skills required:
•  Relevant Tertiary qualification
•  >5 years sales and commercial experience selling into New Zealand Telecom markets
•  Strong technical skill set
•  Demonstrates extremely high levels of sales and business acumen
•  Responsive and Customer focused
•  Strong team player that actively contributes to the company’s success
•  Ability to interact effectively with a variety of personnel at all organisational levels

Electronics Production Team Leader

Scope of Role:
The primary focus of the DC Assembly Team Leader is to manage the day to day DC production. This role will have you running up to five production lines. You will support your Production Manager as and when required.

Key tasks:
– Setting and achieving departmental goals in line with the overall guidelines and objectives set by your manager
– Developing quality and efficiency KPIs for your product lines and highlight any issues that may negatively impact the achievement of these targets.
– Running lean and continuous improvement projects with your manager and team to continually improve quality
– Developing and training your staff so they can move from stage to stage as required
– Ensuring that your 6s program is run with your team
– Running daily meetings to discuss quality and through put
– Assisting with staff reviews
– Provide coaching, mentoring and development support to your team
– Monitor and review improvements in efficiency and cost reductions
– Promote health and safety in manufacturing – encourage feedback as part of your morning meetings, ensure H&S board is up to date always
– Work closely with planning and procurement to ensure your job schedules are as planned
– “On time in full” is a must for our customers so we you must have this as your focus daily
– Enter staff daily hours.

Requirements for role:
– Minimum of 3 yrs in a similar role
– Can manage projects using continuous improvement tools

Test and Validation Engineer

To meet this growth, we have an opportunity available for a talented and dedicated employee to join our Enatel Motive Power Team as a Test and Validation and Support person.

The Technical support role is a key member of the Enatel Motive Power team within the Enatel group of companies, reporting to the Technical Product Manager.

He/she will be responsible assisting in the successful growth of Enatel Motive Power business by ensuring that our customers are supplied with the best products and service.

Please note: Whilst this is a technical role there is a strong customer liaison element. As such we encourage applications from candidates with strong technical and customer facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in standing NPI meetings
  • Respond to production test problems by working with the production teams affected.
  • Working with Suppliers and Design Engineers as required.
  • Work with the compliance test team to drive product test and verification
  • Generate Validation reports
  • Review / Validate EMP documentation to a high standard as required.
  • Assist with development and deployment of prototype products and systems.
  • Ability to travel internationally in order to provide onsite support maybe required
  • Respond to customer requests as required and meet customer service requirements of business

Skills required:

  • Must have a good understanding of a “services business” in a high tech environment, from a supplier, integrator or operator’s point of view.
  • Relative tertiary qualification would be an advantage
  • Process knowledge including quality, NPI and development
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related function is required, technical background.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
  • Must be customer service orientated and believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability and initiative.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude is essential.
  • Ability to adapt to and employ new productivity and procedural tools would be an advantage in a fast growing workplace.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and basic networking and remote administration of Linux systems would be an advantage.

Quality/productivity:

  • Ensure all EMP products are at a customer service/quality level that will impress the market segment, from design concept spec, to acceptable product field failure rate. Every element will need strict quality and test control
  • Improve productivity by highlighting deficiencies and recommending change in tools, training, processes, reporting, and employee engagement

General:

  • Maintain a mind-set of continuous improvement, in terms of efficiency of support processes, customer satisfaction and the application of tools for monitoring, management and optimization
  • Build relationships with the operational and technical department management of our key customers
  • Upholds the company values
  • Any other tasks as required by your Manager and/or the business
  • Develop a strong relationship with the Production team

Customer Service:

  • Responding to all customer queries within 24 hours of receipt
  • Ability to present training material to key customers. (some international travel may be required)
  • Presentable and works well with customers
  • Excellent communication and adaptable
