About the role:
You will be primarily responsible for organising presences at international trade shows for three diverse B2B brands, producing related marketing collateral (copywriting + graphic design), and combining these elements to create integrated campaigns.

While lead generation is important, the emphasis in the short-term will be on building awareness of the three brands in key export markets and supporting Sales with the production of required collateral.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute integrated campaigns based around international trade shows, considering pre-event promotion, on-site activity, and effective follow-up with potential leads.
  • Work with product managers and other subject matter experts to develop on-brand collateral such as print brochures, flyers, white papers, and award applications, and multimedia collateral such as product videos
  • Develop internal and external business documentation and sales collateral
  • Create, deliver, edit and optimise marketing materials such as artwork, brochures, copywriting, blog posts and media scripting
  • Ensure messages are supportive of and consistent with strategies and brand guidelines
  • Provide regular digital marketing metrics and lead status reports;
  • Lead social media activity for the brands (primarily on LinkedIn)
  • Be a project lead for assigned internal projects.

Skills and abilities:

  • Highly proficient organisational skills
  • Experience in event management
  • At least 2 yrs. experience with a B2B brand in a key marketing role
  • Competency with Adobe Creative Cloud suite
  • Copywriting skills
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles with tertiary qualification preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency on and familiarity with LinkedIn as a personal brand-building and networking platform
  • Ability to manage relationships with diverse personalities and important external partners such as creative agencies
  • An adaptable multi-tasker extremely varied and fast paced role

Inwards Goods Quality Controller

Key responsibilities:

  • For items flagged for inspection, carry out defined test and inspection requirements and maintain records
  • Support the Inwards Goods Inspector by providing guidance on tasks and responding to queries
  • When non-conformance is identified, under guidance of Supplier Quality Engineer, initiate and lead processes to resolution: (E.g. Basic reporting, risk assessment, stock impact, production impact, rework options, Supplier Corrective Action etc.)
  • Watch for any other non-conformances which may not be defined
  • Update test and inspection requirements as necessary
  • Manage the rework process and quarantine stock
  • Carry out any tasks required to resolve material non-conformances identified at Inwards Goods Receipting or in manufacturing.

Other duties:

  • Cross training in Quality Dept. tasks to support other staff as required.
  • Other duties as required from time to time and as requested by the Manager

Required skills:

  • The ability to carry out tasks exactly to instructions, accurately and consistently
  • Attention to detail is critical to this position
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for conveying information within the business and at times with suppliers
  • A basic understanding of common mechanical and electrical measurement tools. E.g. Vernier callipers, mustimeters
  • Basic computer competency with Microsoft Office (Email, Word and Excel)
  • Ability to self-manage work load and work independently
  • Able to work and contribute to a team

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualifications are not essential but experience in a quality control position and experience with mechanical drawings and electrical measurements an advantage.

Electronics Process Engineer

Position Purpose:
To ensure products are manufactured to specification. Procedures are in place for all products that we manufacture. Our products are manufactured efficiently, ensuring the highest quality standards for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SMT Quality – working with SMT staff to ensure Design for Manufacture (DFM) is in place, training of SMT staff regarding machine placement and ensuring procedures are followed at every stage of the process – target is to ensure we achieve the highest Parts Per Million (PPM) possible
  • General Process control – procedures and controls are implemented including jigs for all DC product assembly
  • Work closely with Research and Development ensuring product meets DFM guidelines – build work instructions and training of staff as we take new products through there stage gates and into production
  • Defining assembly processes and procedures to ensure repeatable high-quality production is maintained.
  • To keep abreast with technology trends and technical issues relating to Manufacturing within our industry
  • Display Statistical Process Control (SPC) standards on each of our assembly stages & ensure staff are working to these standards – where required training is carried out to ensure we have our staff trained to the highest standard
  • Responsible for maintaining the value stream map process once handed over from engineering and overseeing/implementing any changes in production
  • Set takt times for all stages, balance assembly lines. Lean out processes and identify and bottlenecks
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering ensuring test gear is in place as part of New Product Introduction (NPI) process
  • Report all yields for your area and ensure as part of the fail modes that training is carried out where required to eliminate mistakes
  • Travel to China to work with our Contract Manufacturer – transfer technology as required
  • Create Product Build Packages for transfer to China – Including BOMs, specs, drawings, training information – carry out training

Requirements for Position:

  • A minimum of 5yrs process engineering electronics experience in a similar role
  • Electronics background – must be highly skilled in electronics manufacturing
  • Process engineering certification and proof of certification
  • Must understand SMT process and be able to train in all aspects of SMT
  • Competent to work with engineering regarding New Product Introduction and all that is involved with this process
  • Have proven skills in lean processes e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen, PDCA, other
  • Able to present to a large team of people – confident to present product processes – can use PowerPoint effectively
  • Able to train teams of staff confidently
  • Confident and hard working in all aspects of process engineering

Store Person

The primary focus of the Store person is to load/unload trucks and containers. You will ensure the warehouse is kept tidy and organized.

Key tasks:

  • Forklift duties: including the loading and unloading of trucks and containers

  • Pallet picking and consolidation
  • Locating stock
  • Cycle Counting and stock checks
  • Assisting with the finished goods area
  • Keeping the Warehouse stock/store accurate and tidy

  • Good communication skills
  • A positive attitude

SMT Machine Operator

Working hours:

Night shift:
Monday – Thursday 3:20pm-12:00am
Friday 2:20pm-10:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

SMT Machine Operation

  • Operation of SMT machine.
  • Configuration of machine for production runs.
  • Changing of components.
  • Applying solder paste to boards.
  • Inspection of assembled product for faults.
  • Control of Stencils.
  • SMT quality record maintenance.
  • Train backup/relief staff member.
  • Repair and maintenance of SMT equipment.

SMT Hand Placement

  • Operation of the SMT hand placement apparatus.
  • Inspection of assembled product for faults.
  • Train backup/relief staff members.

SMT Stock Control

  • Notifying Store Controller of installation of the last reel of any part (except customer supplied parts).
  • Control of solder paste.

SMT Machine Maintenance

  • Periodic preventive maintenance of the SMT machines.
  • Monitoring of machine reject/fault rate.

General Production Duties

  • General production duties when existing responsibilities are complete, or when a production overload situation exists, and temporary production manpower is required.
  • Inspection of finished products (PCB) and fault analysis of SMT equipment.
  • Testing, verification and fault analysis of electronic products in accordance with technical manual.

Other Duties

  • Any other jobs and duties as requested time to time by the Production Supervisor or Management.
