We run a lean factory environment with a high product output and low running costs meaning the staff we are looking for will need to be hard working and flexible in a fast-paced factory environment, and ideally have previous electronics factory experience.

Scope of Role:

To diagnose and repair Enatel Energy DC products.

Key responsibilities:

  • As an experienced Technician, the Senior Systems Technician will have the ability to competently test all Enatel systems
  • Ensure Systems products are built safely and to agreed customer specification
  • Training of other technical and assembly staff
  • A Technical leader in the Systems Department
  • Fault diagnosis in conjunction with Systems Technicians
  • Testing and repair of energy systems as required
  • Work closely with sales and systems engineering regarding design for manufacture (DFM) and customer build requirements
  • Report on quality data, highlight areas of concern using Pareto analysis
  • Assist with production engineering approval process and sign off procedures before production begins
  • Work with the Systems team and associated Factory Managers to ensure technical training programme is appropriate, incorporating all electrical test and safety elements
  • Work with the Systems team and Factory Managers to improve training competency processes and training matrix
  • Preference is for the person in this role to join the Health and Safety committee for the Systems area. Necessary training will be provided if needed

Skills & Attributes:

  • Maintains a high level of professionalism and integrity

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to provide a quick resolution to problems
  • Electrical certifications, able to demonstrate testing at high voltage and train where required.

Qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge of power conversion products AC and DC competent (required)
  • Appropriate electrical certification (required)
  • Previous experience in testing or servicing telecommunication systems (required)
  • Lean skills, six sigma green or black belt (desirable)
  • Train the trainer courses or equivalent qualification (desirable but training can be provided)
  • Work history as an electrical technician, wiring and testing AC and DC current (desirable).

  • Ensuring all Health & Safety policies and rules are followed, with all tasks completed in a safety-conscious manner

Hardware Product Support Engineer

Scope of Role:

To provide product support within the Hardware Electronics Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role is the technical support for production products
  • Improve product design when applicable
  • In the event of a product hold you will own and drive the resolution
  • Create any subsequent documentation/reports required
  • Take RMA feedback and improve product design
  • Validation of alternative components
  • Work with production on DFM improvements
  • Assist production with process improvement if required
  • Ownership/control/drive any new BOM updates or PCB up rev’s
  • Monitor Compliances – electrical safety and EMC

Required Skills:

  • At least two years’ experience designing electronic hardware with a strong focus on Power Electronics (preferred)
  • At least two years’ experience as Electronic Production technician (essential)
  • Experience using a broad range of R&D Test Equipment
  • Familiarity with hardware/software development life cycles and working in a team environment on new product development projects
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

This is an exciting role for an experienced Web Developer to join our growing software team. You’ll need a strong background in building web/browser-based applications and enjoy working within a team of smart, motivated people.

We’re developing our next generation of embedded products and need someone who can help us take our UI/UX to the next level. You will be working primarily in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript using the Angular (2+), so experience with Angular or similar modern MVC/MVVM frameworks is required.

Advantageous: understanding software engineering patterns, designs, best practices, understanding testing methodologies and taking a modular development approach in your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver software products on time (meet deadlines)
  • Engage in technical/architectural discussions and decision making with the rest of the team
  • Assist contractors with integration of their work into our products
  • Discuss new requirements with product managers and other product stakeholders
  • Carry out proper testing of your work, and assist with testing, and liaise with the test team

Skills required:

  • 5+ Years’ Experience in building web/browser-based applications
  • Strong experience in HTML5, CSS/LESS/SASS, and JavaScript.
  • Should have a strong and practical in-depth knowledge of Angular (preferably) or with a similar modern JavaScript framework/libraries such as ReactJS or VueJS etc.
  • Experience with responsive design.
  • Application of OO concepts, and proven OO development used in conjunction with MVC/MVVM frameworks.
  • Good familiarity of code version control tools such as GIT (preferably).
  • Basic knowledge of Linux command line and shell scripting
  • A good and well-practiced UX/Usability design approach including creating mock-ups and concepts etc.
  • Experience with graphics, including SVG, HTML5 Canvas and data visualisation (ideally D3.js)

Not necessary but advantageous:

  • Knowledge of an experience with JavaScript test frameworks like Karma, Protractor etc.

Senior Project Manager

Scope of Role:

To provide Project Management to the R&D team, being responsible for project(s) delivery to required contractual and internal business expectations, and day-to-day management of all assigned projects –  ensuring all projects meet the specifications outlined in the relevant documents (project plan, design documents etc) and are delivered on time and within budget

To be active in driving results and finding ways to recover lost time or other challenges.  To be prepared to hold Engineering technical resolution meetings.  And to support Projects from conception to fruition.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Delivery

  • Understand and be responsible for identifying & planning of all project management tasks such that robust, credible project schedules can be developed and executed, including inputs from customers and our supply chain partners
  • Ensure customer requirements and deliverables are identified, understood and delivered (apply the NPI gate process as required) and all required documentation is complete
  • Ensure internal and external suppliers have all required documentation (BOM, Specification) to achieve required quality standards and delivery times of product in accordance with contractual obligations
  • Perform of Enatel standard gates, including project initiation, in flight, and closure processes, participate in governance process, and support execution of project plans
  • Setup and maintain projects in Enatel’s systems (MS Project, Sharepoint Engineering Governance, Jira)
  • Work effectively with Project Leads, Product Managers, R&D Engineers, Engineering Manager and key stakeholders ensuring that projects stay on track
  • Prepare and distribute Project Status Reports and Estimates to Complete to Engineering Manager for all assigned projects on a weekly basis, as well as any other analysis or report required (eg, lessons learnt, monthly reporting to SLT)
  • Ensure issues are identified, managed, and addressed and all relevant parties kept informed – following up, pushing for results, and/or challenging parties to think of the end result deliverable as required
  • Manage project deliverables and milestones
  • Control scope and negotiate, prepare and manage all Project Change Requests with stakeholders as required
  • Manage any project and stakeholder issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Manage all project communications and ensure high satisfaction from stakeholders
  • Be viewed as a Subject Matter Expert on all things Project Management. Maintain an excellent knowledge of Project Management techniques and processes and an awareness of current best practices

Resource Management

  • Day to day coordination of delivery team and task assignment on assigned projects
  • Weekly update of resource plan for assigned projects and staff
  • Escalation of resource issues to Engineering Manager
  • Communication of work plan and expectations to staff on assigned projects
  • Setup of project time codes in advance of time entry
  • Manage project communications with stakeholders

Team Lead

  • Align Project team objectives with departmental goals; ensure high standards and output and drive the standardisation of Project Management processes within the Engineering team
  • Ensure continuous improvement to your area and team through process review and learning and development
  • Foster an innovative and collaborative culture within the wider Engineering team
  • Facilitate good working relationships within the engineering team and other areas of the business
  • Follow all manager HR responsibilities as required by the business including but not limited to 1:1s, leave requests, performance management, training, H&S and compliance
