Purpose of Role:
The primary aim for this role is to initiate and produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. You will join a talented team who work collaboratively with developers, engineers, product managers, and usability experts to make our products easier to use.

A secondary requirement is repurposing your technical output and creating articles that detail use cases, and product features and benefits and provide content that can support marketing activities.

Scope of Role:
You will interview Subject Matter Experts and be involved in project teams to allow the production of documentation.

The successful applicant will be responsible for creating accurate technical documents and manuals, explain complex information in a clear and concise manner and working collaboratively with Sales and Engineering departments in addition to the wider Enatel team.

Successful product releases to the marketplace are dependent on completing supporting documentation as coordinated with product managers against roadmaps, developments and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical writing & Content writing

  • Create B2B technical documentation and support material
  • Manage and maintain documentation storage and version control
  • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
  • Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
  • Develops a thorough understanding of the audience and the documentation required by meeting with colleagues, and working with managers to discuss technical problems
  • Researches and builds knowledge about products, services, technology, or concepts to be documented
  • Determines the clearest and most logical way to present information and instructions for greatest reader comprehension and writes and edits technical information accordingly
  • Prepares graphics, photos and illustrations to elaborate on or complement technical writing
  • Meets with subject matter experts in order to ensure that specialised topics are appropriately addressed and discussed
  • Works with sales and marketing colleagues to ensure that the finished documentation meets product requirements
  • Revises, edits, or updates instructions, technical information, and frequently asked questions as necessary
  • Creates, adapts, and follows project schedules and deadlines
  • Remains up-to-date on technological and product developments as well as universal specifications relevant to his or her industry
  • Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
  • Analyse existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
  • Create and maintain the information architecture
  • Proven working experience in technical writing
  • Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying high attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
  • Excellent written skills in English
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity of agile product management and projects
  • University degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • May collaborate with translators as necessary
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical writer role

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responding to sales and technical enquiries

  • Specifying and configuring solutions based around EMP and or approved third party products

Logistics Administrator

Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing
– Verification of customer Purchase Order details with the relevant Account Manager.
– Creation of Sales Orders in the MYOB system and providing the customer with an Order Acknowledgment.
– Communication of orders to the Planning Team.
– Preparation of freight quotes as required.
– Providing regular communication to the customer around delivery dates.
– Communicating the daily dispatch requirements to the Dispatch Team.
– Arranging the dispatch of the goods with the selected freight forwarder utilising the most appropriate method.
– Preparation of shipping documentation in accordance with specific customer and country requirements.
– Arranging external quality inspections as required by the customer.

Accounts/Administration:
– Review and coding of all freight invoices for accounts.
– Maintenance of SOPs.
– Completion of regular cross training.
– Miscellaneous reporting as required.

  • Running lean and continuous improvement projects with your manager and team to continually improve quality
  • Developing and training your staff so they can move from stage to stage as required
  • Ensuring that your 6s program is run with your team
  • Running daily meetings to discuss quality and through put
  • Assisting with staff reviews
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and development support to your team
  • Monitor and review improvements in efficiency and cost reductions
  • Promote health and safety in manufacturing – encourage feedback as part of your morning meetings, ensure H&S board is up to date always
  • Work closely with planning and procurement to ensure your job schedules are as planned
