About Us:

This position is the primary technical resource for the sales team. Sales Engineers are responsible for actively supporting customers, and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. You work in conjunction with the sales team as a key technical advisor and product expert/advocate. You must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.

You will have a knowledge of power electronics, and this experience will be complemented by experience with customer enquiries and problem-resolution.
You will work closely with the Senior Sales Engineer to develop your skills and knowledge across key aspects of the technology and business.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Responding to sales enquiries as required or directed.
• Understand the technical and commercial requirements of customers.
• Specify and configure solutions based on Enatel products and/or approved 3rd party products.
• Dimensioning, costing and quoting solutions to customers.
• Be engaged in after sales support to customers.
• Provide installation services, detailed technical training, documentation and commissioning support to customers as required (this may involve occasional overseas travel).
• Execute the build of low volume customised power solutions, samples and/or co-ordinate any systems-related activities to ensure customer satisfaction of deliverables
• Coordinate and/or collaborate with those necessary resources needed to support any sales engagement.

Qualifications:
• A relevant tertiary qualification in electronics engineering or appropriate technical knowledge would be well-regarded.

Process Engineer – Systems Department

This is an exciting role for an experienced Process Engineer to join our Systems team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Quality- working with our systems manufacturing team to ensure DFM is in place, training of Systems staff regarding manufacturing processes and ensuring procedures are followed at every stage of the process – target is to ensure we achieve the highest first pass yields possible
• Work closely with Systems Engineering ensuring products meet “Design for Manufacture”
• Defining Systems assembly processes and procedures to ensure repeatable high-quality production is maintained.
• Report all yields for your area and ensure as part of the fail modes that training is carried out where required to eliminate mistakes with systems staff
• Area tool maintenance – carry out scheduled tool and test gear maintenance as required
• Optimise lines to ensure the best build times are in place and reported
• Ensure a lean manufacturing focus for all staff
• Set ups and downtime are at a minimum ensuring up time always
• Root cause analysis is understood and fixed for each error that arises
• Report at quality meeting FPY and actions to resolve quality issues

Requirements for Position:
• A minimum of 3yrs as a electronic/mechanical process engineer
• Electronics background – must be highly skilled in electronics manufacturing
• Process engineering certification and proven training records
• Must understand electronic assembly process and be able to train in all aspects of electronic manufacturing
• Competent to work with engineering regarding New Product Introduction and all that is involved with this process
• Have proven skills in lean processes e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen, PDCA, other
• Able to present to a large team of people – confident to present product processes – can use PowerPoint effectively
• Able to train teams of staff confidently
• Confident and hard working in all aspects of process engineering
• Can use CAD software to create drawings for our looms etc

Software Graduate Development Programme

We’re developing our next generation of embedded products and need someone who can help us take our UI/UX to the next level. You will be working primarily in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript using the AngularJS (1.x), so experience with AngularJS or similar modern MVC/MVVM frameworks is required.

Advantageous: understanding software engineering patterns, designs, best practices, understanding testing methodologies and taking a modular development approach in your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver software products on time (meet deadlines)
  • Engage in technical/architectural discussions and decision making with the rest of the team
  • Assist contractors with integration of their work into our products
  • Discuss new requirements with product managers and other product stakeholders
  • Carry out proper testing of your work, and assist with testing, and liaise with the test team
  • Author unit tests for your code
  • Produce code of a high standard, and employ modern software development techniques
  • Attend and contribute in product development meetings
  • Ensure you are up to date with latest relevant tools\technologies
  • Assist in continuous improvement of software development process and tooling

Skills required:

  • 5+ Years’ Experience in building web/browser-based applications
  • Strong experience in HTML5, CSS/LESS/SASS, and JavaScript
  • Should have a strong and practical in depth knowledge of AngularJS (preferably) or with a similar modern JavaScript framework/ libraries such as ReactJS or VueJS etc.
  • Experience with responsive design
  • Application of OO concepts, and proven OO development used in conjunction with MVC/MVVM frameworks
  • Good familiarity of code version control tools such as GIT (preferably)
  • Basic knowledge of Linux command line and shell scripting
  • A good and well-practiced UX/Usability design approach including creating mock-ups and concepts etc.
  • Experience with graphics, including SVG, HTML5 Canvas and data visualisation (ideally D3.js)

Not necessary but advantageous:

  • Knowledge of an experience with JavaScript test frameworks like Karma, Protractor etc.
  • Interest in keeping up to date with new and developing technologies for web development
  • Experience with JavaScript build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, Bower or Webpack
  • Experience authenticating with 3rd party services using protocols (OAuth)

Test Engineer Software

Testing of this software is of critical importance for reliability, quality and usability and we are looking to expand part of he development team.

Key Requirements:
• Candidates MUST have at least 3 years of experience with Selenium or similar automated test framework.
• Candidates MUST have at least 5 years’ experience with FORMALISED testing, and that experience must include creating test plans and processes from scratch and having been responsible for parsing and/or gathering the requirements from stakeholders.

Scope of Role:
• Technical lead of the software testing team.
• Gradual establishment\overhaul of our current software test process.
• Implementation of automatic testing for software web interface.
• Carrying out automatic software tests.
• Carrying out manual software tests.
• Mentoring existing software test staff in the technical domain.
• Becoming an expert in the use of our products.
• Be involved with the software\product development process.
• Scripting and software tooling to meet the needs of our software testing.
• Product usability assessment and feedback.
