Electronics Production Team Leader

Scope of Role:
The primary focus of the DC Assembly Team Leader is to manage the day to day DC production. This role will have you running up to five production lines. You will support your Production Manager as and when required.

Key tasks:
– Setting and achieving departmental goals in line with the overall guidelines and objectives set by your manager
– Developing quality and efficiency KPIs for your product lines and highlight any issues that may negatively impact the achievement of these targets.
– Running lean and continuous improvement projects with your manager and team to continually improve quality
– Developing and training your staff so they can move from stage to stage as required
– Ensuring that your 6s program is run with your team
– Running daily meetings to discuss quality and through put
– Assisting with staff reviews
– Provide coaching, mentoring and development support to your team
– Monitor and review improvements in efficiency and cost reductions
– Promote health and safety in manufacturing – encourage feedback as part of your morning meetings, ensure H&S board is up to date always
– Work closely with planning and procurement to ensure your job schedules are as planned
– “On time in full” is a must for our customers so we you must have this as your focus daily

Requirements for role:

Senior Production Technician – Enatel Energy

Solutions offer flexibility and scalability by way of rack mount, hot-pluggable combinations of modular AC-DC rectifiers, DC-AC inverters, DC-DC converters with advanced monitoring and control

Primary Responsibilities:
· Assembly and test on DC Systems.
· Fault diagnosis on all production faults.
· Fault diagnosis and repair RMA units.
· Testing and Repairing of manufacturing products.
· Submit BOM updates to engineering and follow through.
· Respond to production problems.
· Report FPY to engineer and TL.
· Assist with production approval process.
· Build new product prototype according to build sheet.
· Quality checking and inspecting.

Technical:
· Knowledge on electrical and hybrid preferred.
· Identification of fault trends and reporting changes to management.
· Evaluate facts and make decisions.
· Good communication skills.

Other:
· Enatel’s hybrid systems are multiple energy input DC power systems for telecommunications designed to reduce the operating costs of Diesel gensets and maximise the harvest from renewable energy sources such as solar and wind.
· General production duties when existing responsibilities are complete or when a production overload situation exists and temporary production manpower is required.

The staff we are looking for will ideally have previous electronics factory experience.

We run a lean factory environment with a high product output and low running costs meaning the staff we are looking for will need to be hard working and flexible in a fast paced factory environment.

Monday – Thursday 8:00am-4:40pm
Friday 7:00am-2:40pm

To meet this growth, we have an opportunity available for a talented and dedicated employee to join our Engineering Software Team as a Web Developer.

Scope of Role:
We require an experienced Web Developer to join our growing software team, with a strong background in building web/browser-based applications.

We’re developing our next generation of embedded products and need someone who can help us take our UI/UX to the next level. You will be working primarily in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript using the AngularJS (1.4.x and 1.5.x), so experience with Angular or similar MVC/MVVM frameworks is required.

Bonus points will be awarded for understanding software engineering patterns, designs, best practices, understanding testing methodologies and taking a modular development approach in your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver software products on time (meet deadlines)
  • Engage in technical\architectural discussions and decision making with the rest of the team
  • Assist contractors with integration of their work into our products
  • Discuss new requirements with product managers and other product stakeholders
  • Carry out proper testing of your work, and assist with testing
  • Produce code of a high standard, and employ modern software development techniques
  • Attend and contribute in product development meetings
  • Ensure you are up to date with latest relevant tools\technologies
  • Assist in continuous improvement of software development process and tooling
  • Any other responsibilities as requested from your manager

Skills required:

  • 3+ Years’ Experience in building web/browser-based applications
  • Fluent in HTML5, CSS/LESS/SASS and vanilla JavaScript
  • Should have experience with or if not, be willing to learn AngularJS and have experience with similar MVC/MVVM Frameworks (such as Ember, Backbone)
  • Basic understanding of Git
  • Basic knowledge of Linux command line and shell scripting
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles

Not necessary but advantageous:

  • Knowledge of an experience with JavaScript test frameworks like Karma, Protractor etc.
  • Interest in keeping up to date with new and developing technologies for web development.
  • Experience with JavaScript automation tools like Grunt or Gulp

Test and Validation Engineer

To meet this growth, we have an opportunity available for a talented and dedicated employee to join our Enatel Motive Power Team as a Test and Validation and Support person.

The Technical support role is a key member of the Enatel Motive Power team within the Enatel group of companies, reporting to the Technical Product Manager.

He/she will be responsible assisting in the successful growth of Enatel Motive Power business by ensuring that our customers are supplied with the best products and service.

Please note: Whilst this is a technical role there is a strong customer liaison element. As such we encourage applications from candidates with strong technical and customer facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in standing NPI meetings
  • Respond to production test problems by working with the production teams affected.
  • Working with Suppliers and Design Engineers as required.
  • Work with the compliance test team to drive product test and verification
  • Generate Validation reports
  • Review / Validate EMP documentation to a high standard as required.
  • Assist with development and deployment of prototype products and systems.
  • Ability to travel internationally in order to provide onsite support maybe required
  • Respond to customer requests as required and meet customer service requirements of business

Skills required:

  • Must have a good understanding of a “services business” in a high tech environment, from a supplier, integrator or operator’s point of view.
  • Relative tertiary qualification would be an advantage
  • Process knowledge including quality, NPI and development
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related function is required, technical background.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
  • Must be customer service orientated and believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability and initiative.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude is essential.
  • Ability to adapt to and employ new productivity and procedural tools would be an advantage in a fast growing workplace.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and basic networking and remote administration of Linux systems would be an advantage.

Quality/productivity:

  • Ensure all EMP products are at a customer service/quality level that will impress the market segment, from design concept spec, to acceptable product field failure rate. Every element will need strict quality and test control
  • Improve productivity by highlighting deficiencies and recommending change in tools, training, processes, reporting, and employee engagement

General:

  • Maintain a mind-set of continuous improvement, in terms of efficiency of support processes, customer satisfaction and the application of tools for monitoring, management and optimization
  • Build relationships with the operational and technical department management of our key customers

  • Develop a strong relationship with the Production team

Customer Service:

  • Responding to all customer queries within 24 hours of receipt
