Account Manager – Motive Power

Position Purpose:

The Account Manager is a key member of the Enatel Motive Power (EMP) team within the Enatel group of companies.

The purpose of this role is to provide Technical and Sales Support to Enatel Motive Power customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for existing motive power customers for technical and commercial matters.
  • Responsible for ensuring relationships are maintained at highest level.
  • Work with customers to provide forecast demand to production planners for product requirements.
  • Be the gatekeeper to ensure the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.
  • Responding to sales and technical enquiries.
  • Understanding technical and commercial requirements of customers.
  • Specifying and configuring solutions based around EMP and or approved third party products.
  • Follow through order entry process and after sales support to customers.
  • Answer customers technical queries.
  • Respond to enquiries regarding product features and performance.
  • Providing detailed analysis of market requirements and identifying opportunities for new product development.
  • Providing installation and commissioning support to customers as necessary.
  • Provision of detailed technical training on EMP products.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance as and when necessary to EMP engineering group.
  • Providing in field, or in lab testing of new products, and checking accuracy of manuals and other documentation.

General:

  • Upholds the company values.
  • Any other tasks as required by your Manager and/or the business.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in business/sales management and/or relevant technical qualification (NZCE / BE).

 Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and oral communication and organisation skills.
  • Must be able to self-manage and effectively prioritise tasks.
  • Clean passport/ no convictions (able to travel freely).
  • Good sales and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of material handling industry would be a beneficial.
  • Good Technical/Electronics knowledge.
  • >5 years sales and commercial experience.
  • Strong technical skill set.
  • Demonstrates extremely high levels of sales and business acumen.
  • Responsive and Customer focused.
  • Strong team player that actively contributes to the company’s success.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a variety of personnel at all organisational levels.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Account Management roles.

Test Engineer Software

Scope of Role:
To test and validate new and existing products from a software functionality point of view.
To plan, develop, execute and document the test program.
As Test Engineer Software you are involved in every stage of software development.   You will conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers/programmers is fit for purpose.  Software testing involves the analysis of software, and systems, to avert risk and prevent software issues.
Ultimately testers are employed to find bugs and issues within product before it gets deployed to everyday users.  You will need to be, or become, familiar with programming and sign coding languages.  Assessing code is one part of the role as a software tester.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Software test – to test and validate software for Enatel products, taking into account:
Product functionality and reliability as set out with scope
Ease of use of the product by the customer
Software legacy, ability to update product in the field
•  Develop and execute script testing for software in development, allowing fast and repeated test runs
•  Support the Software Team during the scoping and development phase for projects
•  Document Control.  Ensuring software in development is under control
•  Manual writing.  Support manual writing process with input
•  The Test Engineer is a member of the Research and Development Team.  As a member of this team, you are expected to take an interest and give significant input (design for test, customer use) into projects in development
•  Collaboration with test team, arranging software testing to suit and support product testing (hardware, environmental, validation)

Scope of Role:

The Technical support role is a key member of the Enatel Motive Power team within the Enatel group of companies, reporting to the Technical Support Team Leader.

He/she will be responsible assisting in the successful growth of Enatel Motive Power business by ensuring that our customers are supplied with the best products and service.

Please note:  Whilst this is a technical role there is a strong customer liaison element. As such we encourage applications from candidates with strong technical and customer facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, review and validate EMP documentation to a high standard as required
  • Develop and present training programs to small groups
  • Respond clearly and effectively to technical support enquiries
  • Participate in standing NPI meetings
  • Respond to production test problems by working with the production teams affected
  • Work with design and manufacturing engineers as required
  • Assist with development and deployment of prototype products and systems
  • Travel and provide onsite support to customers (both domestically and internationally)

Skills required:

  • Problem solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick and effective resolutions to problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, an experience communicating with those of a technical and non-technical background
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including the ability to understand a mechanical drawing or electrical schematic
  • Process knowledge, including quality, NPI and development
  • Technical background with at least 3 years of experience in a related role
  • Customer service orientated and believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability and initiative
  • Must have a good understanding of a services business in a high technology environment, from a supplier, integrator or operator’s point of view
  • Familiarity with software development processes and basic networking and remote administration of Linux systems would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with the use of Python scripts for basic test automation would be an advantage
  • Relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage

Quality/productivity:

  • Ensure EMP products achieve a level of quality and customer service that impresses the market segment, from design concept to acceptable product field failure rate. Every element will need strict quality and test control
  • Improve productivity by highlighting deficiencies and recommending change in tools, training, processes, reporting, and employee engagement

General:

  • Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement, in terms of efficiency of support processes, customer satisfaction and the application of tools for monitoring, management and optimization
  • Build relationships with the operational and technical department management of our key customers
  • Uphold the company values
  • Develop a strong relationship with the production team

Scope of Role:

The prime purpose of the Management Accountant’s role is to produce financial analysis on revenue and profitability, costs and operations and provide business modelling expertise and analysis to assist in the management of the company. A key initial role will be assisting with implementing an ERP system and the integration of finance, sales and operations including backfilling parts of the Finance Manager role.

Core elements of the role:

  • Analyse the profitability of customers and products, manufacturing and price variances, costing and inventory.
  • Ensuring that the information provided is accurate, timely, business relevant and commercially focussed through relevant analysis, interpretation and communication.
  • Implementation of the sales and operations parts of the financial module of the ERP system and work with the business to smoothly integrate with other modules.
  • Work with the engineering team and project managers to assist with business case preparation and regularly revisit ROI assumptions at gate reviews.
  • The ability to balance ad-hoc non-scheduled requirements with routine and planned reporting.
  • Proactively challenge existing processes, practices and reporting to recommend and drive the implementation of improvements.

  • Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills
  • Experienced in financial modelling and analysis
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Commercially focussed through providing interpretation and recommendations from financial information.

Experience & Knowledge:
