Purpose of the Role

The primary focus of the Business Systems Specialist is to facilitate successful business change initiatives, specifically transformation projects for IT business systems including Enatel’s ERP system, BI, CRM and other systems implemented from time to time by the business.

Acting as a trusted advisor spanning across business and technology, this role holds overall accountability for the functional enhancements and ongoing health of the business systems and associated data; in doing so enabling the organisation to realise the long-term strategic goals whilst optimising operations.

What you will be Doing

  • Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on how technology supports Enatel operations including manufacturing and quality processes.
  • Gaining and keeping your knowledge up to date on ERP (Infor CloudSuite Industrial) and other key software applications to understand the capability and inherent limitations/constraints of each.
  • Seeking out, triaging and analysing areas of business optimisation.
  • Working with Senior Leaders and other Super/Power Users on potential business optimisation projects.
  • Identifying issues, risks and benefits of proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
  • Gathering, validating and documenting business scope requirements​.
  • Creating functional specifications for solutions​.
  • Championing Enatel’s Super/Power users and ensuring alignment (priority/resourcing) of all business systems projects & activities.
  • Participating and driving procurement and contract management processes
  • Collaborating with relevant vendors and operational teams to construct testing and implementation strategies.
  • Producing key documentation including: End User Documentation, Project/Progress Reports, Functional & Technical specifications, business cases and business process mapping.
  • Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood and communicated to members of the Senior Leadership Team and other managers as appropriate.
  • Enabling awareness of evolving technical and business capabilities.
  • Establishing and Chairing the Data Governance Committee, to ensure data quality remains at the forefront of Enatel decision making.

What you will need to be Successful

  • Tier 1 or 2 ERP experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven skills and experience in analysis and understanding of new processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, specifically as related to communication with project stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Proven experience in consolidating requirements and prioritising the same in line with the strategic and operational requirements of the business.
  • Confidence and ability to make independent recommendations or decisions to resolve issues.
  • Proven skills and experience in problem solving.
  • Highly skilled and experienced in producing quality, user-friendly documentation.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Business Systems Specialist role or similar, preferably in a Manufacturing environment.

Purpose of the Role

The primary focus of our Warehouse and Distribution Manager is to lead and manage our Warehouse and Distribution operation.  The role is responsible for a vital part of our Supply Chain process, managing people, processes and systems to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets, and the requirements of our customers, are met.

What you will be Doing

  • Leading and continually developing a high performing, highly engaged team including the development of SMART goals, with KPIs on health and safety, stock accuracy, and timely inwards goods receipting.
  • Working closely with Logistics to ensure product is dispatched in full on time.
  • Ensuring the Dispatch team are processing all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Driving cycle counting processes, ABC analysis, and ensuring this is driven as per the agreed processes.
  • Ensuring all components are handled, packaged, and stored appropriately to guarantee the integrity of the product, monitoring shelf life as required, using the FIFO method.

  • Working closely our with Customer Service team and Logistics driving DIFOT to 98%.
  • Driving continuous improvement and lean projects to achieve optimal operational efficiency using our internal PDCA process.
  • Achieving and maintaining compliance with MPI in devanning and general operations; and working with NZ Customs on Export Security.

Purpose of the Role

Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products. Planning and prioritizing manufacturing to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. Planning resource, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.

  • Planning product works orders and resources in our ERP system
  • Working closely with procurement to ensure materials are ordered as per demand
  • Working closely with production leaders ensuring jobs are complete and daily run rates are achieved
  • Hold Sales & Operations planning meetings monthly with sales teams to ensure forecasted demand is planned correctly
  • Review open works orders daily, so jobs are closed as scheduled through factory
  • Manage product planning delays, find product that is faulty and ensure completed and jobs closed – DIFOT of 98%
  • Manage all production work in progress (WIP) ensuring this is as planned and closed as planned
  • Recommended solutions to remove waste and increase efficiency
  • Compile planning production status reports and issue to team leaders and managers for review
  • Promptly change production planning schedules with production as required

What you will need to be Successful

  • A minimum of 3yrs in a production planning function
  • Worked within an ERP/MRP system for a minimum of 3yrs
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity
  • Displays a positive attitude and a team focus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems
  • APICS Degree or completing related modules (desirable)

General Production Duties
