We are a global leader in the design and manufacture of high frequency, modular battery chargers for material handling equipment, ground support equipment, automated guided vehicles, and other off-highway vehicles.

About the opportunity

Enatel is seeking an experienced Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our high‑performing Engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in the mechanical design, development and lifecycle management of innovative power and electronics products used globally.

You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams across Systems, Hardware, PCB, Compliance, Product and Operations to deliver world‑leading technology through reliable, cost‑effective and manufacturable mechanical solutions from concept through to customer validation.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop and maintain high‑quality mechanical solutions across multiple products and product families
  • Translate user needs, system integration requirements and workflows into practical, manufacturable designs
  • Deliver projects from early concept through to verification and customer validation, on time and to scope
  • Review and improve designs using production, test and RMA data
  • Support, modify and enhance existing products, ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Identify, manage and escalate technical risks and issues as required
  • Work collaboratively across Engineering, Product, Operations and other stakeholders
  • Contribute as a member of the R&D team, reporting to the Mechanical and PCB Team Leader

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent
  • 3+ years’ experience in mechanical development of electronic products and associated systems
  • Strong hands‑on experience across the full mechanical design lifecycle
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or a similar CAD package
  • Experience with DFM, DFA, rapid prototyping and mechanical analysis (structural/thermal)
  • The ability to take designs from early ambiguity through to product launch
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • A collaborative working style with clear communication skills
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently when required
  • Experience with SolidWorks PDM, EMC‑aware design, plastic injection moulding or gated product development lifecycles will be highly regarded.

The Sales Engineer is a key technical resource supporting the sales team throughout the entire customer lifecycle. This role is responsible for actively supporting customers, managing the technical evaluation stage of the sales process, and providing both pre-sales and post-sales technical expertise.

The Sales Engineer works closely with Sales, Engineering, and Customer Service teams to design and deliver solutions that meet customer requirements, while acting as a trusted advisor and product expert.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team by responding to technical enquiries and assisting with solution development
  • Lead and support technical evaluations during pre-sales activities, including customer discussions and product demonstrations
  • Understand customer technical and commercial requirements and translate these into tailored solutions
  • Specify and configure solutions using Enatel products and approved third-party components
  • Provide post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Deliver installation support, commissioning assistance, technical training, and documentation to customers as required
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure successful customer outcomes
  • Support the development and testing of customised or low-volume solutions where required
  • Contribute to product improvement through feedback gathered from customer interactions and field experience
  • Assist in managing warranty-related activities, including product returns and root cause analysis
  • Travel within North America (and occasionally internationally) to support customer engagements
  • Actively engage in responsibilities and initiatives to ensure a safe work environment
  • Comply with and contribute to the continuous improvement of company policies, processes, and procedures
  • Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented workplace.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering, engineering, or other relevant technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in a technical sales, application engineering, or customer-facing engineering role
  • Strong technical knowledge in power electronics, telecommunications, or related high-tech environments
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong customer focus with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, self-directed environment

The Cable Assembler assembles cable products to meet customer requirements by following detailed work instructions and quality standards. It involves ensuring proper use of tools, maintaining specified torque settings, and performing functional testing to uphold assembly quality. The role also includes reporting non-conformances, collaborating effectively with team members, and supporting additional functions including cable assembly production, backup support for charger production, and assisting with shipping and receiving activities.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Key Functions

· Assembling cable products according to customer needs by following work instructions, samples, and other specifications.

· Collecting all materials and tools needed to begin the assembly process.

· Assuring and maintaining specified assembly quality according to work instructions.

· Checking incoming parts and outgoing assembly quality and reporting non-conformances in parts/product to Team Leader.

· Working effectively in a team environment and co-operating with co-workers.

· Performing functional testing.

· Providing backup support for charger production as required.

· Participating in shipping and receiving activities as necessary.

· Ensuring all Health & Safety policies and rules are followed, with all tasks completed in a safety-conscious manner.

· Completes any other tasks, projects, or duties as required by Management from time to time.

Skills, Experience, & Knowledge

· Safety-first approach

· Minimum one-year experience in a manufacturing environment

· Proven experience as an assembler on a production line

· Good understanding of quality control principles

· Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions (verbal and written)

· Physically fit – may be required to lift units up to 15kg

· Proficient in English, both oral and written

Qualifications/Licenses

· High school diploma or GED.

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

· Applicable tertiary qualification would be an advantage

Physical Requirements

Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 15 lbs., throughout daily shift and, on occasion, lift up to 40 lbs.

Work Environment

· Hot/cold temperatures based on seasonal variations.

· May be humidity, noise, odors, dust.

· Safety precautions are a must to minimize potential exposure to mechanical hazards.

Compensation Disclosure

The rate of pay for this position is $23.00-26.00/hour. This represents a good faith disclosure of compensation. This range represents a good faith estimate for the position and actual compensation will be based on numerous factors including knowledge, location, skills, training and experience.

The Operations Supervisor – GSE is responsible for establishing and leading Enatel’s US operational footprint for our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) product range. This role will initially focus on launching and operationalizing the US facility, including inventory management, logistics, assembly operations, production readiness, facility setup, and team leadership.

As the operation grows, the role will transition into leading day-to-day operational performance, ensuring efficient production, inventory control, product quality, and on-time delivery. The Operations Supervisor will play a critical role in enabling business growth, improving customer responsiveness, and supporting the successful execution of Enatel’s North American strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead US operational activities in alignment with global operational standards
  • Support the launch and operational readiness of the US GSE facility, including workflows, tooling, equipment, inventory, and logistics processes
  • Develop and implement operational processes, systems, controls, and reporting mechanisms
  • Lead daily production and assembly activities to meet customer demand and delivery commitments
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with global supply chain teams to ensure material availability
  • Support forecasting, demand planning, and inventory control activities
  • Monitor productivity, operational performance, and delivery outcomes while driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain operational policies, work instructions, and process documentation
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop production employees as the operation expands
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, and Customer Support teams to ensure successful operational execution
  • Support customer visits, audits, and operational reviews as required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and operational partners
  • Provide regular operational reporting and recommendations to senior leadership

  • Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented workplace.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of operational leadership experience within manufacturing, assembly, industrial technology, electronics, or similar environments
  • Experience establishing or scaling operational capability, including facility readiness, production setup, logistics processes, inventory controls, and team onboarding
  • Demonstrated success leading production and operational teams
  • Experience managing inventory, production planning, and customer delivery performance
  • Experience working within a global or multi-site business environment preferred
